Well, we’re not exactly sure. In February, 2011, Chris Weybright and Kate Samworth left Philadelphia to travel Spain and Turkey–voluntreering on organic farms along the way–for six months.
What was initially intended as an excuse to travel together and see how people are making a living in organic agriculture has become much more: a deep lesson in sharing; living with others; living with less; learning what “DIY” means; and seeing firsthand what real compassion, patience and hospitality is all about.
As a result, this blog–conceived as a way to share photos and travel stories with our friends–has a potential to mutate into any number of things. It may become a: WWOOF’er resource, depot for quasi-philosophical ranting or amateur culinaria, collection of cat photographs, or a Scott Baio fan site. Who knows? Stay tuned…
Hello Chris and Kate, I satisfy of seeing that your trip has followed a good path and to live intensely through the trip Wwoof. I am now in Germany, after happening for Aldabazahar, Spain, Italy and soon surely return the Basque Country. A kiss and an embrace. Jesus.
